A Legacy of Growth and Giving Back
When the Academy first launched in 2015, our mission was to develop the finest massage therapists in the industry. While comparable programs can cost thousands, Burke Williams offered this training completely free to our team, eliminating financial barriers and empowering therapists to learn new skills that bring healing to their communities.
Nearly a decade later, the Academy is back, refocused and stronger than ever. While our values remain the same, our emphasis is now on Advanced Continuing Education to help massage therapists refine their craft, deepen their expertise, and expand their impact.

How to Join the Academy
Join the thriving community of over 800 dedicated Burke Williams massage therapists, many of whom are seasoned experts and mentors.
You must have at least 2 years of verifiable experience as a Certified Massage Therapist (not necessarily at Burke Williams).
At Burke Williams, you must maintain a schedule of at least three, 4-hour shifts per week.
When you commit to mastering these advanced techniques, you don’t just gain new skills; you elevate your presence, expand your impact, and distinguish yourself as a leader in a field where authentic mastery is deeply valued.

*Currently, the Shiatsu course is approved through NBCMTB. The Advanced Pregnancy and Lymphatic Drainage certifications are in progress. Once certification goes through, all certifications will be retroactively given.
